Family Therapy

I help families by seeking solutions to common life challenges that exist within the multiple settings in which families live - the home, work, and community.  Families often seek outfamily therapy when they are faced with challenges in their relationships, raising children, and problems involving extended family and friends. Adopting a relationship perspective, I do not negate the significance of individual processes. Rather, I take the view that individual behavior is better understood within the context of human relationships, or the family social system.  Family therapy, has an influence on every member, it can be helpful to focus on the family as a unit instead of just on one individual.

You can expect as your family therapist I will guide your families to seek effective solutions and build on their strengths to overcome vulnerabilities. This is an active, interactive and solution focused oriented treatment approach. Family therapy can be a wonderful growth for the family as a whole, as well as, individual members.
